چکیده
thioredoxins (trxs) are small heat-stable proteins that are involved in the cell redox regulation and are present in all organisms from prokaryotes to higher eukaryotes. in higher plants, trxs can be classified into six different groups namely: the chloroplastic trxs f, m, x, and y, the mitochondrial trx o and the trxs h. the trxs h are represented by a small multigenic family that participate in such multiple processes as cellular protection against oxidative stress. a full-length cdna coding for a thioredoxin h (vvtrxh3) gene was cloned from grape (vitis vinifera l. cv. bidaneh sefid) leaf tissue through reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (rt-pcr) technique, and then, biochemical, structural and phylogenetic characteristics were analyzed. nucleotide sequence analysis revealed an open reading frame of cloned vvtrxh3 gene with a length of 345bp, encoding a protein of 114 amino acid residues. protein sequence analysis revealed that this gene with thioredoxin fold, contains a typical catalytic site of wcgpc, the calculated molecular mass, and the predicted isoelectric point of the deduced polypeptide of 12.79 kda and 5.06, respectively. phylogenetic and multiple alignment studies revealed that this gene is a thioredoxin h belonging to the subclass ia from subgroup i, with a high degree of similarity with plant thioredoxins h

Factors like slow and seasonal multiplication and infection with pathogens have constrained the use of conventional plant propagation methods, thus lead to development of new and novel methods of propagation like in vitro multiplication which ensures the production of virus and disease free elite planting material in large numbers. In the present work, in vitro regeneration protocol has been st...
متن کاملEffect of Potassium and Iron on Berries Resveratrol and Viniferin Accumulation and Antioxidant Capacity of ‘Bidaneh Sefid’ Grape (Vitis vinifera L.) Cultivar
Nutrition management in growth season has a main effect on production and accumulation of secondary metabolites in grapevine berries. In this research the effects of foliar application of potassium sulfate (K; 0, 1.5, and 3%) and iron chelate (Fe; 0, 0.5, and 1%) on accumulation of resveratrol and viniferin and antioxidant capacity of ‘Bidaneh Sefid’ grape berries was evaluated. This study was ...
متن کاملAccumulation of tocopherols and tocotrienols during seed development of grape (Vitis vinifera L. cv. Albert Lavallée).
Tocopherols and tocotrienols are present in mature seeds. Yet, little is known about the physiological role and the metabolism of these compounds during seed development. Here we present data on tocopherol and tocotrienol accumulation during seed development in Vitis vinifera L. cv. Albert Lavallée (Royal). This species was chosen for its ability to synthesize both tocopherols and tocotrienols....
متن کاملComprehensive and comparative lipidome analysis of Vitis vinifera L. cv. Pinot Noir and Japanese indigenous V. vinifera L. cv. Koshu grape berries
Vitis vinifera cv. Koshu is an indigenous grape cultivar that has been cultivated for more than a thousand years in Japan and one of the most important cultivars in white winemaking. To improve Koshu wine quality, it is necessary to identify the metabolites in Koshu berry. We conducted a comprehensive and comparative lipidome analysis of Koshu and Pinot Noir berries cultivated in the same locat...
متن کاملInfluence of vine vigor on grape (Vitis vinifera L. Cv. Pinot Noir) and wine proanthocyanidins.
The relationships between variations in grapevine (Vitis vinifera L. cv. Pinot noir) growth and resulting fruit and wine phenolic composition were investigated. The study was conducted in a commercial vineyard consisting of the same clone, rootstock, age, and vineyard management practices. The experimental design involved monitoring soil, vine growth, yield components, and fruit composition (so...
متن کاملExogenous Applications of Brassinosteroids Improve Color of Red Table Grape (Vitis vinifera L. Cv. “Redglobe”) Berries
Color and other quality parameters of “Redglobe” grape (Vitis vinifera L.) berries were evaluated after treatment with brassinosteroid (BR) analogs. Three BRs analogs (24epibrassinolide, Triol, or Lactone) were applied at three concentrations (0.0, 0.4, or 0.8 mg·L−1), at the onset of veraison. A commercial formulation (B-2000 R ) was also applied, at a recommended rate of 0.06 mg·L−1. The test...
